*** mid 2009: Low Carbon Exeter, always a Transition style initiative promoting and activley engaging in the transitioning of Exeter towards a low carbon and sustainable city, grew into Transition Exeter and the Low Carbon Exeter Project.

Whilst te is able to encompass more transition messages the LCEP is tasked on some specific projects on aspects of mitigation, CO2 and energy reduction, supporting campaigns and supporting business' focus.

Attracting some key speakers in the fields of climate change adaptation, mitigation and the social, ecological, agrigcultural and economic impacts every seasons series of talks brings a variety of interesting and crucial debates to the centre of Exeter. Often accompanied by a forum or topic to which you can add comments and views as well as further the discussions of the evenings.

Our regular meetings

Open meetings at 7pm usually on the Third Thursday of every month at the Global Centre. (First floor of Exeter Community Centre, near the Iron Bridge.) Please see below for the next meeting details.
